9/11-12 Days of Service & Commemoration Celebration: Learn more about this two-day community event by clicking HERE.
9/13 Primary Friend to Friend video – Elder Gerald Causse, Sister Valerie Cuasse, and the Primary General Presidency will speak to all the Primary age children.
9/20 High School Senior Night from 7-8PM - All High School Seniors and Parents in the stake are invited for a night with the Stake Presidency. The senior year of high school is a critical transition time with lots going on and key life choices underway, including potential missions, military service, seminary graduation, etc. The stake presidency will share guidance to aid in this time of growth and transition. We look forward to being with you.
9/23 & 9/24 - Open house and tour of the Logan Bishop's Storehouse
This opportunity has not been part of previous leader orientation meetings, but we felt it would be valuable for leaders to visit the storehouse, meet some of the missionaries, and learn best practices that can assist you in caring for those in need.
To accommodate attendance, we will hold two sessions:
Wednesday, September 23, at 7:00 p.m.
Hyrum and Smithfield Coordinating Councils
Thursday, September 24, at 7:00 p.m.
Preston, Logan East, and Logan West Coordinating Councils

If you are unable to attend your assigned evening, please feel free to attend the other session. We have divided the groups simply to help manage attendance.
During the open house, service missionaries will provide an overview of the Bishop's Storehouse, answer questions, and lead a tour of the facility. The event will last approximately one hour.
Please register using the Google Form linked below. Your registration will help us prepare for the number of leaders attending each session.

If you are unsure which coordinating council your stake belongs to, please refer to the attached list.
This invitation is being extended to stake presidencies, stake Relief Society presidents, high councilors assigned to self-reliance, stake self-reliance specialists, bishops, Relief Society presidents and elders quorum presidents. If there are other leaders in your unit who would benefit from attending, please feel free to forward this invitation.
10/3-4 General Conference - Sessions Saturday morning at 10am, Sunday morning at 10am and 2pm.
10/21 Youth Bonfire for all youth in the stake at the Zollinger gravel pit.
10/25 Relief Society Fireside at 6:30pm for all Relief Society members of the stake. One-by-One: The Doctrine of Christ Strengthens Us.

Statement on the Importance of the Sacrament
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We would like to reaffirm the great importance of the sacrament in each of our lives. We remind you that those few minutes are the most important minutes all week.
Please take this time to put away any distractions. Focus your thoughts on the sacrifice of your Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. Lift up your hearts & voices and join together in singing to Him. Ponder your week – the good and the bad – looking for ways to improve. Prayerfully ask for forgiveness and the companionship of the Holy Ghost. Partake of the sacrament reverently, quietly, and with confidence. Take time to relish in the joy Jesus provides & receive His Spirit & great love for you individually. Remember this should be the church of joy!
May God bless each of you and your families as you strive to make the Sacrament a more meaningful experience, a true connection to heaven.

Statement on Testimony Meeting
A testimony of the gospel is a personal witness borne to our souls by the Holy Ghost that certain facts of eternal significance are true and that we know them to be true. Such facts include the nature of the Godhead and our relationship to its three members, the effectiveness of the Atonement, and the reality of the Restoration.
To bear testimony means to declare gospel truths as inspired by the Holy Ghost. Testimonies should be brief so that many people can participate.
For this reason, it is not a travelogue, a health log, or an expression of love for family members. It is not a sermon. President Kimball taught that the moment we begin preaching to others, our testimony is ended.
Young children are welcome to bear testimony in fast and testimony meeting. It may be best for them to learn to do so at home until they can bear testimony without help.
